The project of the EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
Project title: FAS Control – system of adaptable production process control of the water meter body
The project is implemented under the consortium agreement by:
• Fabryka Armatur “Swarzędz” sp. z o.o., Rabowice – Leader
• HIT – KODY KRESKOWE IGLEWSCY s.j., Suchy Las
• Poznań University of Technology, Poznań
The aim of the project is to develop a digital innovation in the form of a dedicated IT system that is a digital representation of the water meter body production proces. This product, as a basic device for measuring water consumption, is used in apartments, houses and in industry. The quality of the device determines the computational precision and reliability, and also the safety of drinking water. Innovation in the project – digital integration of information about production system, taking into account various manufacturing techniques, in order to make current operational decisions. New production management functionalities will be created – with the use of advanced digial technologies, it will be possible to integrete real – time proces control and effective decisons – making for solutions in human – system, human – machine and machine– system configurations.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program
Implementation period: 06.11.2022 – 31.12.2023

The project of the EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
Project title: Waste-free technology of shaping drinking water fittings made of lead-free copper alloysi
The project is implemented under the consortium agreement by:
• Poznań University of Technology, Poznań – Leader
• Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals, Gliwice
• Fabryka Armatur “Swarzędz” sp. Z o.o., Rabowice
• Plastic Working Institute, Poznań
The implemented project is a response to the market needs in the field of gradual phasing out of lead brass by producers of products intended for contact with drinking water. As part of the project, a concept, basis and technical assumptions will be developed for waste-free forging of drinking water fittings from lead-free copper alloys. The development works will be related to the adaptation of the mechanical press for the needs of the research stand for the analysis of the waste-free forging process of elements made of new alloys in industrial conditions.
The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Intelligent Development Operational Program
Implementation period: 01.01.2017 – 31.12.2019
Total grant amount for the project: 3 257 968,43 pln
